Top 11 Results - Hushhhhhhh

After the usual preamble, Peter Noone performs "Hush...All Over the World" along with some really hokey dance moves. During his entire performance, most of the Idols are cracking up. Sanjaya in particular had his hand over his mouth trying not to laugh. A tad disrespectful, yes, but an honest reaction and I laughed right along with them.

Laundromat commercial - cute frollicking in bubbles. Naughty Cake thoughts.

Dim the lights.....Phil, Melinda, and Blake ALL SAFE! Phil is a very happy man and I am happy for him. Chris S, LaKisha (who looks INCREDIBLE), and Jordin ALL SAFE! Sanjaya, Haley and Gina....is this our Bottom 3? Nope, all are SAFE. That means that Stephanie and Chris R?! are both in the Bottom 2. This one could be a shocker.

Lulu comes out and sings "To Sir With Love". DAYUM! She looks so sexy for her age and what a performer! No laughter from the Idols this time; in fact, Jordin looks a little bit starstruck.

So, back to Stephanie and Chris R on the Seal. Both are very calm, but after a while Chris R looked like he was about to crack but then Ryan says he's SAFE. He had better start working on that whole nasal thing. Awwww Stephanie is such a class act smiling through her tears. I wish they had aired her singout.

First of all, what's with not airing the singouts this season? Did we really need to hear Grandpa Noone instead? LuLu was great but when Peter Noone was singing, even the Idols were like, "Dude. No."

I expected Stephanie, but I didn't understand Chris R in the bottom 2. Obviously those people that don't like 'Cake' are behind this.

I loved this week's commercial. Very cute. Who knew Melinda was so acrobatic? ;-)

What's the theme next week?

Holy Mother of Batman! Had I been Daughtry'd this early in the season I think I might have needed to be medicated. My Chris in the bottom 2? Say it wasn't so. I'm far to young to be sent into heart failure. But, alas, he was safe. Whew....

The scuttlebut on TWOP is The 90's is the theme.

I was very relieved when Chris R was safe. He isn't my favorite male, but some good eyecandy and he deserves to be in the Top 6 at least IMO. Performance wise, not necessarily vocalwise.

Stephanie shouldn't have gone, no, no, no. However, she was off this week and she didn't pull away from the Beyonce thing. Hmm maybe she just went home a couple of weeks too early.

Lulu is awesome and if I am half as sprightly and beautiful as she is at her age then I'll be happy!
I'll not commment on Peter Noone.

So, another week over!

Well at least that's a decade that all the contestants were alive in. Any word on a guest coach for this one?

Bah, Stephanie deserved to be at least on tour! I can think of two or three people that Stephanie is better than.

Sounds like it will be a lackluster tour, with Sanjaya and Haley in there. Oh well, people do need their bathroom breaks. But Haley is improving though, so maybe she deserves her spot. And if they lose her, who'll be the sexy lady sex kitten type left, now that they got rid of Antonella?

Gwen Stefani is guest coach next week.

Huh. Ok I'm not so sure how I feel about Gwen giving the Idols singing pointers.

I like Gwen Stefani, always have. Maybe she will be coaching them more on performance than vocals because yeah....
