Can I just say that Carrie just might be the most amazing person in the entire world...ever?!
I'm gushing but A) She looked fricking amazing on the red carpet, B)She looked gorgeous on the performance, fantastic outfit and the performance itself was shit hot with the legs and the chair and everything... Somebody slap me.
And she won, completely.

Oh she went "solo" on the red carpet, no date, Ace nearly wore his tux but Carrie didn't wanna get laughed at. Bwahahaha, I knew there wouldn't be a guy but who's to say there wasn't some dude, sneaking into the aftershow party? Eh carrie? ;)

Yep, yep when I saw the whole thing with the legs, the youknowwhat high heels and THE CHAIR, my first thought was that Carrie's male fans (and a lot of her female ones HEE!) are very VERY happy right now.
The only thing to snark over were the legwarmers LOL. The rest of her BHC outfit was all kinds of awesome.

Who knows? There could be some afterparty pics and reports of a guy, but I think we would have heard/seen them by now.
What an awesome job! All those awards were absolutely well deserved. I couldn't be happier or more proud!
Plus, that was THE BEST televised performance of BHC ever (ok well the performance in the video was pretty darn great ;). My only thought was, I hope that person knew the chair was coming at them. LOL!

The performance outfit was terrific...however...were those legwarmers with those heels? *huh*. If so...why?
Yes, the legwarmers! I can see where they were going with that, the whole 80s revival but Carrie could have left them in the dressing room I agree. However, the rest of the outfit was perfect for the occasion that I can forgive the legwarmers. In fact, what legwarmers? LOL.
I mean, this is the CMTs, it's less formal, a little more chance of scandal (heh) so Carrie went for the SHORT shorts and straddled a chair. Don't think we'd see that at any other country awards, ha ha. (I wonder who's idea the chair was?) I'm not obsessed with the chair I promise but it was a nice surprise in terms of props, bwahaha.
Oh I worry myself during times like this, I get far too excited about Carrie's clothes and actions on stage. But why? I'll never quite know.

The other thing I thought was funny from the awards last night was the little "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader" skit. I thought it was funny having the '5th grade Carrie' have her desk loaded with all of her awards she's won. LOL.
She STRADDLED a chair! I wonder what the "Cosmo Mags are for hussies" fans are going to say about that?!
And no word yet on who Carrie was hand-feeding desserts to at the after-parties?!

The chair ones are just ridiculous and I can just imagine what the fans who think Cosmo is for hussies were thinking, I bet their eyes bled and their brains exploded (well not literally I hope). I must be one of those hussies...in fact no, I AM one of those hussies.
My thoughts on THE CHAIR straddling was that it was a stripper move, but I wasn't thinking that in a pearlclutching way, but a HUSSY way. ;)
I'd rather be a hussy than a pearlclutcher! And it so was a stripper move, extremely unpredicted and therefore very effective. Who would have thought that we'd be seeing this confident, risque, attitude filled Carrie back in the days of Idol? We saw tiny glimpses of what could be but she's definitely arrived so to speak.
Oh and What; I think Carrie probably had her pick of guys to hand feed the buffet items too after that! The hussy! ;)
Oh, and I forgot about the ever famous legwarmers. Even my grandma, who was watching with me last night, and who has no total fashion sense whatsoever, went "EH?!" on the legwarmers! LOL!

I LOVED the leg warmers! Eventhough I would have liked to see her legs all the way down,I think they worked. And no afterparty for Carrie,she was in the studio early this morning....

Thanks bzzbarfly! I love hearing more about her album. I read something by Joe Galante as well where he was very excited about the new album. I'm all for uptempo songs, they're eht emost fun to hear in concert but I do hope she throws in some incredible ballads as well.
I like fast songs for concerts too but I also hope she has a couple power ballads that really show off her vocals. Like a song that she holds a high note forever...one that gives ya chills....

Talking about missing Carrie wearing "Good girls clothes" what the hell are those? A nun's habit? Obviously Carrie is a whore if she wants to show some flesh, obviously Carrie is letting herself down by dressing hr age...
FFS while this all make me titter, it makes me slightly bemused, annoyed even. I just don't get it, small minded people, I never have.
What was wrong with the shorts, I loved them and we have seen Carrie wear something similar many times. AND she followed the "rule" of legs OR cleavage. I honestly think she looked sexy yet classy but maybe I'm a hussy. ;)

I finally downloaded the HQ video for the BHC performance and I watched it twice. The second time I concentrated on the audience and oh how they love Carrie! Home girl worked it out, totally.
