I totally AGREE! When was the last time she had a date date?! BB Awards '05? That is soooooo eons ago. It's time she celebrate the Romowood love by taking Tony to the ACM's.
Tony starts his first "Mini Camp" that week end,,he would really be pushing things to get there.
I don't know. Tony seems like he wouldn't want to pass up a trip to Vegas with Carrie...it's not that far- and he could even leave Tuesday morning.

It's not that I don't think Tony can get away. The minicamp ends the 14th and the ACMs are the next day. He could probably even get a flight out the 14th if he wanted.
The main reason that I am not expecting him to be her date is because Carrie is just a very private person. Tony has also become like that after all the Jessica/Carrie rumors in the winter. I can see him meeting her in Vegas but not going to the awards. It'd be cool if I was wrong.

Phil Stacy reminded me of Anthony Federov’s run two years ago. Both lasted much longer than anyone reasonably expected. Neither made one think “huge commercial potential” largely due to the lack of originality, but both stayed on week after week by coming off positive, working hard, and singing steadily better. I honestly never thought I’d think it, but when Phil was hugging sailors in the audience, I actually went “I sort of wish I could hear him another week.”
I will come clean and say this is pretty much how I felt about Anthony's run on the show. I didn't really miss him until he was gone and it has been his steady improvement and his performances SINCE Idol that have really impressed me and made me a fan.

The Cosmo thing was really unbelievable. The first time I read it (thanks Rulz!), I really did think it was a joke.
I hope that Carrie takes Tony to the ACM's - not just for the fun Romowood we would get, but its kind of sad for a 24 year old woman to NOT take her boyfriend (there, I said it!) to something important for whatever reason. Then again, judging by the Ghostbar pics, I am not so sure they care about publicity at this point.
Here's hoping Tony joins her in NYC this weekend, but that doesn't look likely.

I think sportscenter will be on after the basketball games. I'm not sure if it's a rerun of the earlier show or a new show. It may be kinda late depending on where you live (around midnight in the central time zone). Tony's fact/fiction segment was in the last 30 minutes of of the show.

You and I go down to the corner sonic, and over to the movie house. They have to go from Fla. to Nashville, to Wisconsin, to Dallas, to L.A. I don't think lying is a good idea, especially with the fans Carrie has and she has said in the past that she likes the fan club so she can clear up rumors and so we can have first hand information from herself so if they are more than good friends then I don't get the straight out lie.

Remember that Airforce guy that asked Anthony in his radio show if he had seen Carrie naked? He posted over on TCF and this is what he had to say:

They made him grow out his hair for the play. What I don't like about the photo is that he is wearing a t-shirt underneath that ripped shirt. He better not have it on when I see him on Friday. So, Carrie fooled everyone, I see, and showed up on Saturday when everyone was expecting to see her on Sunday.

Again I say that if she goes to watch him play golf, there is no "just good friends". They are a couple because you have to really like someone to watch a sport that boring. No offense if you like watching it. My dad used to watch it (actually still does but I'm not around him much). He'd listen to me say, "Change the channel" until he got tired of it and would finally say, "Go in the other room".
I am doubtful she'll be in Dallas Tuesday. She has to work on her album, and we know next week will be busy for her. There are tons of events the days leading up to the ACMs. She probably won't take part in most of them. They do press either Monday or early Tuesday, and last year she went to dinner with most of the Sony BMG crew (Brad, Sara, Martina).

That new Canthony picture just gives me all the warm fuzzies! Aside from the cuteness, it represents, for me, their strong and genuine friendship that survived competition, time, distance, and whatever circumstances they are the only ones privy to. I love the fact that both of them see, support, and cheer each other in their biggest moments. I once wanted them to be together in the romantic sense, but if I will continue to hear these kinds of stuff about Canthony, then I will be a happy camper for a long time.

I have a very strong feeling Tony was with Carrie in NY.They go out of their way to see and spend time with each other in farther distances as this.So what is an hour drive away it's not as if Tony has a very pressing commitment that he will have to fly back to Dallas after his signing thingy.Next day is a Sunday and I'm sure they would not pass up the chance to be together. Bear in mind that it's only 200 people and most of them are broadway fans who have no clue wht's going on in mainstream much more country music.Their main interest was the show not who's in the audience watching it.So they probably managed to slip under the radar again ...they did it until Ghostbar and then all hell broke loose... we may or we may not get pictures but keep the faith...LOL

When I first heard the "Carrie spent time with Tony in his hometown" talk, I assumed it was just the kind of wishful thinking/outright BS that we are all familiar with ;P, but it turned out to be true.
I think I have a pretty good relationship, but I can say that I would NEVER watch the husband play golf for hours and getting him to go to a musical with me would take a lot of convincing, if not outright bribery.

I think this show was filmed early in the year like Feb or March. The reason I say that is Tony was on the sport show on Fox four news and they were interviewing him and asking him if he watch American Idol and who he like this year. Anyway Mike Doosey the Fox 4 sports news report said that Tony was doing at ESPN special call Fact or Fiction that would be on Espn later this year. I really think that was film before all these pictures came out.
I think it was even before March because I remember the FOX interview and it was way BEFORE the March 10 birthday.
